There is a new album for 2009 Photos up. It has some pictures of some cleanup going on in the pits. The back wall (where the old go-kart track was) was full of junk, but they had no idea how much until they started clearing it out. Check the pictures out in the 2009 Track Photos album to see how much junk there actually was. This will open up a lot of extra space for racers to pit. They are also adding a few more speakers through-out the pits (mainly towards the back) to help racers hear lineup calls, etc., and I heard a rumor of some lights going up in the pit lineup area.
Also some more great news, they are getting ready to add new clay to the track, we will be taking photos as they dig up the clay and add it to the track and work it in, etc. Stay tuned over the next few weeks for those.
